A series of fantastic new ponds were made last year at Halkyn in North Wales, under the direction of Rebecca Good, Pond Conservation's North Wales Pond Officer.

Rebecca said 'surveys showed a increase in newt numbers after the work was carried out and apparently the dragonflys have been espcially abundant this summer.'
