Freshwater Invertebrate sorting volunteer for People, Ponds and Water – Oxford
The People, Ponds and Water project is collecting a huge amount of valuable data from freshwater surveys through the PondNet section of the project. Currently we have a selection of freshwater invertebrate samples that require sorting so we can analyse the data collected. This would make a great opportunity for a student or someone looking to increase their Freshwater Invertebrate identification skills to join us for a day or 2 (or more) a week over the summer, and help us sort through these samples. You will need to have Freshwater Invertebrate ID skills already, ideally to species level, supervision and guidance will be provided.
If you are interested in this role please send a covering letter with your CV to Jo Fever firstname.lastname@example.org
Trustee – Communications and PR specialist
Are you interested in becoming a Trustee for Freshwater Habitats Trust?
Our board would benefit from the addition of a Trustee skilled in communications, marketing and public relations so if you feel you have these skills and would like to volunteer some of your time to governing Freshwater Habitats Trust we would be very interested in hearing from you.
Freshwater Habitats Trustees meet 4 times a year, twice in Oxford (January and July) and twice in London (April and October).
To discuss this further please contact Jo Fever on email@example.com so we can organise a chat with our Chair of Trustees.
