Welcome to the Pond Clinic

The more natural you can make your garden pond, the better it will be for wildlife and this is easy to do by following our advice on keeping the water really clean, making natural edges and letting wildlife colonise naturally.

Get the conditions right and your garden pond will very quickly attract a wide variety of wildlife. You should soon see dragonflies, pond skaters, damselflies, water beetles and backswimmers, as well as frogs and maybe newts.

If you already have a garden pond or are thinking of making one, here are some suggestions for making the most of your garden pond for wildlife.
