Launched on Wednesday 1st June 2011, this new version of the BAP Species Map now includes 101 endangered BAP plant and animal species and live links to the Species Dossiers. These provide technical information - much never previously published - on the ecological requirements of species and on how to design and manage ponds specifically for them.

If you are using the browser Google Chrome you may find some of the navigation tools don't work properly. To access species records in Google Chrome first press either the Site Query: 1km or Site Query: 5km tab, then move the cursor to the area of the map of interest and left-click the mouse.
We have not experienced any problems using any other browsers, but please let us know if you do.
