There are a host of ways in which you can support Pond Conservation, and help us to continue our valuable work creating and protecting ponds for our most endangered freshwater species.
Coming up to Christmas, one really easy way to raise funds for us is to do your Christmas shopping through the easy fundraising web portal:
All you have to do is:
1. Go to the following link:
http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/pondconservation.
2. Register to get your unique username and password.
3. Then to raise funds for Pond Conservation, just log in before you start your internet shopping or browsing. Up to 5% from each purchase you make will be donated to Pond Conservation.
4. This costs you nothing!!
There are lots of other ways in which you can raise funds for us – so depending on your inclination – you could run 26 miles, or bake a batch of frog-themed cakes.

Some ideas for fundraising activities
If you would like any help with your ideas then just contact us, and we’d be delighted to offer tips, or provide any publicity material that you would need.
- Run a cake sale or coffee morning.
- Host a Tombola or Quiz night.
- Sponsored events like a marathon, cycle ride, shark dive, sponsored knit or better yet pond creation (the record is 50 dug by hand in 8 hours).
- Open your garden, and show off your garden ponds.
- Take a Pond Conservation collection tin to local events.
- Spread the word through family and friends, distribute information/raise our profile.
- Online shopping through easy fundraising, this costs nothing and many big retailers will donate a small percentage of the sale price to your charity of choice.
- Survey a garden or local pond and complete the Big Pond Dip/Big Pond Thaw.
- Help out at our national events – Gardener’s World Live, CLA Game Fair, RSPB Birdfair – we love to see our supporters, and if you could spare a few hours to help man the stall, that would be even better (and we'd get you a complimentary ticket for the event).
- Volunteer to help out with smaller, more local events including local Pond Dipping and Training.
- Volunteer to help us survey the best ponds in the UK – Flagship ponds.
